Description
A small rug with the look of a natural fiber and the care of a washable one. The pile is a tight, nubby weave in recycled cotton and polyester, low enough for doors to clear. It is meant for the side of a bed, under a coffee table, or a short hall — the sizes stop at 5×8. A thin, washable backing helps it lie flat on hardwood.
Materials & details
- Recycled cotton and polyester weave
- Low pile, under 1/2 inch
- Washable non-slip backing
- Sizes are approximate finished sizes in feet: 2×3, 3×5, and 5×8.
- Sand is a warm oatmeal. Cream is lighter and a little more open in the weave.
- Use a separate rug pad on slick floors if anyone in the house is unsteady. The backing helps; it is not a substitute for a pad on stone.
- Not recommended for covered outdoor use. It can live in a mudroom that stays dry.
Care
- Vacuum without a beater bar.
- Machine wash cold, one rug at a time. Air dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
- Spot clean with mild soap and blot. Do not dry clean.
